hello everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
NYE in London was pretty mad. The tube was insane. Trafalgar Sq was beautiful, but I don't think the fireworks went for as long as they do in Melbourne? Went to PopJustice 'club'. It was pretty shit. It would have been fantastic if they called it a LOUNGE. As it had no dancefloor. But did have excellent music and nice chairs etc.
Anyway, yesterday I went to Camden Market which is like a huge Caribbean Market along the streets. lol they sold laughing gas and cannibis lollypops...
Went in Fopp records and managed to pick up Will Young's (latest) Live In London for £3 (~$7.50)! Was stoked! But yeah, the Keep On dual disc was like £19...not worth it lol.
My trip to Camden by foot was lovely. Went through Regent's park at about midday. I saw a grey squirrel! I got really excited! And later that night I saw a rat running along the tube tracks...it was like the exact same color as the tracks. Went past the London Zoo, and I could see from the outside that they had emus...
Regent's Park was lovely but also cold and windy. Very. So hence, I now have a cold. :(
There are now two Belgian girls in my room. So I've sort of lost the love/motivation to learn French. lol. They are a bit on the annoying side.
Got up at like 10.30am to get breakkie and take a call from my mum today. Then slept on till about 2.30pm. And then I finally had to do my washing. And thankfully it went well and nothing shrank.
Hmm, I want to go back to my room but I think it may be occupied atm...
And Yay for going to Edinburgh in two days! Don't know what the hell we're doing there...but it's a whole other country...and you can't get there by bus!
