So long, farewell.
fkn hell, Optus cut off my internet today instead of tomorrow…Grr. So I’m at Caroline’s house *hugz* haha.
I’ve had an excellent (final) week in Melbourne before I leave tomorrow night.
It started with the Kylie concert on Sunday night, which was amazing. I was pretty happy with the seats I got for us :) *proud* Unlike the uber fan like Eddie, I was pretty ho-hum about those rare b-sides and album tracks as such. But I would have LOVED that if it was an artist I was mad about.Great night, until I realized it was Sunday and had a horrible Sunday night/Monday morning with public transport. It was such a pain. Partly my fault because I forgot my concession card, didn’t get fined, but had to miss a couple of trains and spend more money.
Then on Wednesday, I went with Anna and Laura to Jamie’s White Christmas party, which was a ball. It was great fun with the swing, the dog, the drunkards and the eggnog. Pretty miffed that I won’t be here for New Years, that lot are lots of fun. Also got to witness Anna in the morning…scary stuff :P
Friday night, went to the Peel. Again, lots of fun! Ended up being Eddie, Chris, Eliza and I. Not going to be bothered with all the details but yeah, that was my last time there till I get back! :(
We (finally, and eventually) went to Yum Cha on Saturday. And boy, were we stuffed. Haha Eddie (“DUMPLINGS!”) and Anna (“I’m so happy!”) cracked me up. And Chris too with his future-hit song.
We did present exchanging and I got Live Luxe haha as expected! But it’s lovely, thanks guys! But I don’t think I’ll be taking it with me…as there is barely anymore luggage space >.<
Then we went to Carols by Candlelight to watch birthday boy Kris singing. Loved the Newton family and David Campbell lol and Brian McFadden did sound good.
Was so tired and cold by the time I got home. Even more tired than Friday night.
OMG I got so much shit for being sick… on Saturday. Yay for it being my last day today.
Anyway, I've run out of steam for LJ writing. I'll post another blog tomorrow *maybe* or the day after tomorrow. To pour my heart and soul about this sad sad time. I just need to hand write it first.
(I'm a bit anxious about this 'party' with my Dad's side of the family tonight...I don't want them to see me cry!)
(And I'm glad some people are coming to see me off at the airport...even if it's at a ridiculous time)
