Work has been fine. Stability is nice. And the boss has asked me to do mini-billboard type signs for Napoleon Perdis. They should be arriving next week if all goes well (i.e. I sent the right size/format to the printing company). Didn't have much to work with but I hope they just don't turn out blurry :(

I've had since Thursday off work for Easter and don't go back in til Wednesday which is lovely! Been amazing so far!

Thursday was just a Me-day. Went to see A Single Man which was great. Depressing though. I think I like the book's subtlety more. Tom Ford did make it very artsy fartsy though. And man was the trailer misleading or what! Also saw Micmacs at Kino, so I did end up seeing one French Film Fest film!

Did the gig trifecta over the weekend, as it were, The Vaudeville Smash on Friday at the Night Cat which went off! Erin and I dressed as sailors for no apparent reason lol
And then Dr. Detroit on Saturday at Blue Diamond and this afternoon at the Belgian Beer Café.

Totally love the Belgian Beer Café! Great outdoor setting and their sound system was pretty good too! Would love to have my birthday there or something but it might be too chilly in August.

Hope the guys don't think I'm a freak for seeing them 3 days in a row :(

Apart from gigging, went to the cemetery to pay respects to grandmas. Twice. As in Saturday and Sunday morning. As in TWO picnics in the graveyard. We actually eat all the food we "sacrifice" on the spot including the full roast pigs lol My family is weird.

ETA I friggin' almost dropped my cousin in the loo today HAHA she's, like, 3. It was pretty funny.

I've got another 2 days off and probably doing family stuff and hanging around the house.

Comedy gig at Cabinet on Wednesday with my uncle will be fun I think. I have a feeling next weekend will roll around fast :)

Happy Easter, y'all!

(Life, blah. I don't know if I'm happy with life at the moment or not.)
