Farewell - a lady at work had a going away dinner. Probably like the 10th person that's left since I've started working at TW *rolls eyes*
Work's been busy. Zone 5 is working on this project which is going to make everything a lot more efficient. Deadline is March 1 and we're quite behind so my boss is feeling a bit anxious! I don't know. I want to see this project to the end but I think the result will either be sink or swim.
Not sure if I want to start looking for a different job. I consider this a real, proper job, but other people don't and that pisses me off. And it pisses me off that I care.
I actually just want to be paid more, it's a sweet gig otherwise.
Sam Sparro - this gig was incredibly disappointing! It was at Closet and he didn't arrive until like 1am and only sang two of his songs and DJ-ed the rest. Guh. A waste of a good voice.
High Tea @ The Windsor - Now this was amazing. All-you-can-eat dessert! So, so worth the $70 spent! I want to try the one at the Langham hotel next. It makes a lovely ladies day!
Christmas with the in-laws - I was invited to Erin's family's late-Christmas celebrations on pi. Lots of fun! Her parents are so cool, hehe. And Erin took me to the beach and we romantically watched the sunset and ate icecream :)
Midsumma - Pretty chill, caught up with some friends and my uncle who was helping out at the
Unity Diamonds stall.
Also went to a reading at Hares & Hyenas with
fpvs which was lots of fun!
Australia Day - Good times! Had a dress on made out of a flag and went to a mate's BBQ and got drunk. Very Austrayan!
Ronan Keating - Saw Ro perform at The Plenary. He was great! Our seats were a bit shit though.
Dan Banks Band - They played an acoustic show at this tiny bar. Love his voice. And I won a CD for cheating! (Guessing what a cover song they sang was having heard it at least twice before at another gig hehe)
The Vaudeville Smash - Saw them twice since the 8th of Jan. Three times if we're including last night when Dr. Detroit (their side band) played. I'd explain in detail all the reasons why they're awesome, but I just give up on people.
Chinese New Year - was fantastic as usual! Lots of food, family and fortune! lmao
Work Monday to Friday, go out Friday/Saturday, chill on Sundays (except tomorrow when we're going to
Good Vibrations Festival!). I'm wondering whether this is it?
That's all that's really been happening. Need to pick up a proper hobby soon I think. I'm thinking either braving a dance/fitness class or an educational one.
Anyway, those are thoughts.
