& Mother Duck says QUACK QUACK QUACK QUACK
I was stopped at a red light under a bridge on the way to work today and saw this old man carrying a bag of bread wandering through the traffic, one car in front of me. I thought "SIGH, another creep in Ringwood - what's new" but then I saw him come to the other side of the road and he was actually helping a Mother Duck and her 10 or so ducklings across the road!
I was all NAAAAWWWWWWW!
And the little ones couldn't climb up the curb and so the man held down his hands to give them a leg up and a few of them scattered in fright and I could hear Mother Duck going QUACK QUACK QUACK LET HIM HELP!
But they are okay.
