Friends
- We were meant to see Cookin' On 3 Burners at The Evelyn. But I was late, and they sold out! So instead, we went to Lygon St to the Comfy Chair (sweet venue!) to see The Vaudeville Smash. Jesse talked them up a lot and they did not disappoint!
Totally awesome funk/disco/pop sounds with a wonderful falsetto-ed lead singer :) They should totally be charging for their gigs! And get a CD out already! I must say, they are way more amazing live than those demos on their MySpace. And the crowd? Oozing cool with people who could really bust-a-move *jealous*
And the crowd was also ridiculously good looking.
Met a few of the band members after. One of them was grabbing his mates' balls. I liked him.

- Had my little "Teddy Bear Picnic" this afternoon with a few friends and LOTS of sugar for my 22nd. Good seeing people again. Played Wii, Articulate, Pictionary and ATE. We had fairy bread, gummis, Tiny Teddies and, like, EIGHT pizzas.
Pressies: monies, Borders voucher, The Care Bears Movie HEE!, Order Up! (Wii game), chocolate (I do not need more), Sarah Blasko's newest album, a copy of Stand Up by the Dave Matthews Band and some awesome earrings from Mouche!
I don't believe in BFFs anymore, but Erin comes close I think. I'm doing so many awesome things with her! Like the 40 Hour Famine/Movie-TV Marathon next weekend and HOPEFULLY the Meredith Music Festival in December (hell yes I am spending ~$250 on a weekend with bands I don't know!) and haha maybe another Blues Cruise! XD
Anyway, think I'm just chilling tomorrow I think. I'm a bit pooped and feel a sore throat coming on due to the amount of junk I've eaten today haha. Might hang with my little cousin (as our other little cousin is going on a "date" *sigh*).
