So a blind guy walks into a bar...

... and we all had a really great time!

Last night, my primary school friend Sarah invited me out to party in the 'burbs. So, it was Sarah, her mate Sam, Keisha and me at the Mitcham Hotel last night. Which is a really bogan sports bar complete with dining area and pokies. And lots of old blokes having bets on football or races or whatever was on last night.

Ended up playing pool. I never play pool because A) I never really hang out at pubs with pool tables; B) I'm really rubbish at it. But ZOMG I got 4 FOUR! balls in! YAY!

Then these two guys wanted to play, so they joined in. There was Adam, and his vision-impaired pal Richard and his blind pal, Chris with his guide dog, Deakin! I mean, that was so random. And they were a great bunch too! So great that, when the pub closed at 11.30, we decided to move to Flanagan's which is even further into the sticks.

The guys were like "Cool! We'll take a cab and meet you there!" but Sarah goes "Oh naaah, we'll give you a lift!" (Sam and Keisha were desos) and he goes "Oh! That'd be really nice, but we'd totally understand if you don't want to drive complete strangers somewhere" lol so we split two girls to a car and off we went (after Sarah checked all their IDs... I'm not sure what that proved...)

Anyway, Flanagan's is a karaoke bar! Pretty lively there and fun! Had a few drinks and just chatted. Richard was hitting on an uninterested Sam and I'm not sure who Adam was hitting on... but Sarah liked him, so I thought she could have him :P Aren't I nice.

Once Flanagan's closed at 1am, we hiked next door to The Pool Room. And the security dude didn't allow Deakin in! Because it was "too busy". And Richard got a bit mad "that's illegal, I could sue" - I don't know, but I think that's true. So we boycotted that place.

And that was our night. I think Sarah invited them out on Friday night, but I'm off to Queenscliff next weekend. So woe. But yeah, I love me some crazy random night!
