- Erin's birthday on Saturday was really nice! Went to Mrs. Parma's which is an awesome little restaurant/bar type place that serves... PARMAs lol all sorts!
- Went straight to Ron's 21st afterwards. Anna snuck in minibar bottles of various alcohols and we tried to drink in the cubicles but they kicked us out lol she was SO prepared! She had sugar, salt and a cut up lemon with her! Haha. I gave a bit of "speech" for Ron... it was a bit embarrassing *public speaking fail* but yeah, was great catching up with heaps of people I haven't seen in ages!
- Work has been pretty good. I'm getting the hang of how things work but I'm still a bit nervous about being there on my own after Helen leaves.
Turns out there is a boy working there! LOL. He's a pharmacist but no one bothered to introduce me (cousin's day off) so... *shrugs*
And, my former French teacher is stalking ME, dammit! Not the other way around! I had my back to the entrance, fiddling with stuff on the floor and he walked in (visiting his wife I'm assuming) without seeing me and of course I looked up because, well, he's tall and caught my attention and then I quickly hid lol
Don't get me wrong, he's a nice bloke, but man, he intimidated the shit out of me in high school...
- Thanks so st_aurafina, I've setup a Dreamwidth account! Haven't done anything with it so far - since my internet is at snail's pace for the rest of the week. But I think I'll turn it into my Icon/Fanart Journal or something similar. Because all my icons and crap are so disorganised right now! And I don't know if I want to move all my blogging over there or not, IDK.
- Erin invited my to a ball! LOL She's invited me to the Resident's Ball for her Halls at uni. I cannot wait! It's a masquerade ball too! With a 3 course meal and included wine and soft drinks... but I think we'll be pre-drinking (or sneaking spirits in...) - it's going to be hilarious fun! So yeah, that's next week. On a Thursday. She's offered to drive me to work the next day! But I think my mum might do that instead, since she'll have nothing better to do at 7am.
- I think I've missed blogging about this particular issue with my Dad. But yeah, after I got hired FT at the chemist, I asked told him to deposit my money back into my account (I transfered almost all of it to him so I could claim Centrelink) but he, you know, isn't going to.
He's like, the money is still yours - I'm not stealing it or anything - you JUST CAN'T HAVE IT.
He put it on the house or whatever.

So now I have become one of those people who have to wait for pay day to pay my credit card bill and shit like that. I'm not giving him the satisfaction of "letting him" pay that bill and be all I-own-my-daughter like.

- ZOMG I found a couple of real set photos from The Vintner's Luck! I was googling it and they were "hidden" in this PDF of a NZ film mag. No Xas... but it's a picture of Celeste and Sobran holding a baby standing in front of *hopefully* Sobran and Xas' Tree. It's exactly as a pictured it! All classic looking and sweepingly beautiful. Will do some random icons with them sometime (and put up the pic) soon!
I'm serious, depending on how much ahead of time I find out the release date of The Vintner's Luck in NZ and depending on how long of a delay it has for an Australian release... I am totally willing to plan a trip to NZ for this movie.

ETA! Amazon (.co.uk... they didn't AmazonFAIL, right? Anyway, I ordered these before that... blah) e-mailed me saying my How To Be and Little Ashes DVDs shall be shipping sooner than expected :) I only need to wait until end of JULY now and not end of August. Haha.
I've got How To Be downloaded already... but still haven't watched it. Probably will do so this weekend.
Been reading spoilery things about Little Ashes. Apparently no "hard-core gay sex" in it (oh, Robert, overreact much?). Woe. But yay for plenty of making out! Hee!
You know, what, as much as I fangirl over RPattz and Twilight and all that, there is just WAY too much shit on the web for me to watch/read lol I mainly just stick with whatever cleolinda posts or other random tidbits I think I may find interesting. I've skipped most of EXCLUSIVE FROM NEW MOON SET like interviews or SNEAK PEEKS or whatever... because really - they aren't going to be showing that much "footage" from it. I skim photos though - have a good laugh at Failcob's hair and how he isn't as hot as the other weres let alone vamps *snerk*
