Just wanted to update about last weekend. Went to
Supanova pop culture expo! It was my first convention type thing and I had a pretty good time. I didn't expect so much anime lol and Battlestar stuff and Stargate stuff. Apparently Katee Sackhoff was the biggest thing there lol

When they're skipping through time a few episodes ago, were they running the risk of running into their future/past selves and therefore rupture the space-time continuum OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT?
That's what I think, too. I think it's not possible for two versions of the same person to exist at the same moment in time, which is why Ben didn't end up in the 70's (because his younger self already exists back then). But I'm wondering why Sun was seperated from the others... Maybe little!Sun was already on the island once, too?
And now... if Sayid shot little!Ben, wouldn't big!Ben (lol...) cease to exist?
That really baffled me as well, but after thinking about it for a while, I came up with two theories:
1) Ben isn't dead. Either someone found him in time and healed him, or he did die but managed to rise from the dead (kinda like Locke).
and 2) Daniel Faraday once said that you can't change the past, so I'm pretty sure that all of this is supposed to happen and actually did happen just like that in Ben's past. Which would explain why he already knew so much about Jack, Kate, Sayid, etc. when they first crashed on the island.
Also, I think it would be hilarious if Sayid shooting him actually contributed to Ben becoming evil later on. By trying to prevent something from happening, he actually made it happen. LOL
And finally, DO WE KNOW WHAT THE SMOKE MONSTER IS YET? IDK... I might've missed that bit of information LOL
I don't know what it is, but I think in s4 we saw that Ben can control it, or something.
This show seriously makes my head hurt! o_O
