Twlight ZOMG
We saw Twilight tonight. I think I've been waiting for this since... September?
Loved:
- RPattz - I thought he was just great :) I wonder if Hardwicke/Meyer didn't have such a say in how he portrayed Edward, he would've taken the whole self-loathing further? His I-hate-myself-face (most of the movie) was the best. I was thinking "Oh wow, he hates himself so much... it's sad" :(
I don't know, I thought he put in a lot of effort to to display how chagrined Edward is all the time. The biology scene was so, so detailed. The way he sat and how he took in a big breath before speaking to her...
And OMG the faces he made when he took Bella to meet the family hahhaha
- The kiss scene - I loved how it was slow... even with the guy in the cinema going "HURRY UP!" but it was sweet and I loved how he told her to hold still and how he flew off her lol
- The Cullen's home - I want it!
- Playing "Never Think" during the Port Angeles scene. They needed to turn it up! So you could hear the lyrics! So appropriate even though RPattz didn't write it for the movie (I think Nikki Reed stole it from his computer and told Hardwicke to use it...). I've had the four RPattz songs I have on repeated repeat for the last week. They're amazing. "I'll Be Your Lover" would be great for Breaking Dawn at some point...
- Billy Black keepin' it real
- The whole scene of Edward's predator-ness. I... really liked the lines they wrote for this lol
- Victoria... fierce! I love the look on her face at the very end... FORESHADOW MUCH?
No:
- How Eric and Mike were like the same character...
- they were missing the pizza scene! and the Edward-blocking-the-exit-so-Tyler-could-ask-Bella-out scene! and the blood test-let-me-carry-you scene, and the flirty waitress scene! Bah!
- KStew's overly monotonous voice throughout the entire movie.
- Some of the very stale-ly delivered lines. I think Jacob suffered the brunt of these... although maybe that's just because I don't like him very much. Edward needs better competition than him!
- I hated tree-climbing... it was odd looking. All the wire work was odd looking :S
- Bella's lullaby which they played repeatedly of course. I still think it's horrid.

- SPARKLING! I think they did this well... I was imaging body shimmer. And that's pretty much what we got. He kind of just looked sweaty to me at first. There was not enough sparkling.
- Emmett - "Well her name's BELLA" - Not enough Emmett!
- Jasper and his EPIC PAINFACE OMG I LOVE IT. He is my second favourite Cullen, and then Alice - because she twirls
- Cullen's RAHHING at the carnivore vamps on the baseball field HAHA there was an audible RAH! too (unless I totally imagined that)
- THE START - OMG I was like, "WTF is she holding a catcus for?!?!"
- Edward staring his mighty stare
- Bella "DREAMING" of Edward. HAHAHA.
Anyway, I think that's all I can think AT THE MOMENT. Trying to get my uncle to see it with me next weekend. But he is forever unreliable so... yeah.
And, I am so chagrined. My internet is dial-up until, like, Friday. GAH. I wanted to do Twispam for my friends - mainly of RPattz and the amazing things he says in interviews. But I can barely reach a website properly for this to happen in a good amount of time. So I will do one next weekend :)
So, yes, I am satisfied with the movie overall. And will think of more things I've missed tomorrow at work most probably. SPARKLE OUT.
