Stuff
I am going to update this, because I feel that it has been awhile.
The productive weekend that just passed was so unproductive. I did go to the gym twice though. For that, I am proud. And sore. Very.
Anyway, I blame unproductivity on my cousin. Spent a couple of hours trying to fix her laptop (which isn't fixed, so it's at my place now. Ugh.) then went to the movies with her and her mum. Twice!
Saw Australia on Saturday. Loved it. It's really too bad it hasn't taken off in the States. I wonder why that is? Because of the other movies out? No interest or little knowledge of the Stolen Generation? I don't know. I wanted to see it first because it was touted as a romance and epically epic. And it was, but it was just so magical too. The aboriginal actors was amazing. Nicole was okaaay. I kind of forgot how much she annoyed me about half way through (incidentally an hour and a half later). And Hugh. SWOOON. He is just all chest and yumminess and chest. We were seated like 3 rows from the front so it you could see every hair on his chinny-chin-chin (and chesty-chest chest).
ETA Almost ALL the trailers before Australia were, well, related to Australia. This was the funniest ad I've seen in a while:
On Sunday, we saw Quantum of Solace. I was unimpressed :( that saddened me. Casino Royale was way better. I think I most enjoyed Bond's agonising over... the previous Bond Girl (I think)... the plot was just... lost to me.
ETA The ads for this were beer/TV/watches related but there was this amazing, mesmerising "Drive Safe" type campaign... I can't find it atm though.
And, and, and! I gots a Wii! And a Wii Fit! There was a bundle sale at Harvey Norman and I just impulse charged it to the credit card haha. Had so much fun with it so far! Wii Fit is amazing. Trying to teach my mum to use it too... but apparently the moving cursor thing gives her a headache haha. Um, and I bought Guitar Hero, Mario Kart and Mario Party from someone at melbournemaniac. But I am hanging out the most for DEXTER ON WII. It hasn't been confirmed, but I'm crossing my fingers for it to happen! I WANT TO SLICE PEOPLE UP!
There is a very late TV related post I need to make... it'll get done... eventually.
