“Lancôme captures the colourful wave of spring with the new collection In Love. Pop shades drawn from street-art murals and vibrant tones of nature flirting with an urban spirit. The neon glimmer of city signs with the pastel tones of balcony flowers… Springtime hues resonate in time with the pulse of the capital, while emotions stir in resounding vibrancy…
Passion blossoms in all its radiant intensity. In Love tells the electrifying story of a resolutely urban breed of springtime joy. When love is lived in technicolor.”

Baume in Love Rose Macaron is a happy neon/hot pink in the tube, but it swatches sheer - it’s a lip balm after all, and the Khol is of an amazing formula - it’s creamy and waterproof, budgeproof and a dream to apply - exactly what I was looking for. So glad that it’s here!
“To celebrate the spirit of Parisian springtime, Lancôme reinvents a quintessentially French motif: toile de Jouy.
This renowned cotton fabric created by 18th century artisans in Jouy-en Josas is famed for its unique design of florals, characters and landscapes. Today, Lancôme delights in reinventing this absolute classic with a quirky twist of fun to dress the products from the In Love collection.”
The blush has been embossed with this motif, which you will also spot on the cardboard covers of the entire collection.
The blush has a removable mirror which I didn’t notice at first till I saw this promo visual:
Lancome’s Palette in Love seems to be missing from the USA collection (whoa!) - but I think the sheer, wearable colors of this palette will be very much well-loved by the Japanese.
I’m surprised by Lancome’s decsion to use cardboard containers, but I think it’s a nice touch (and start) to saving the world (haha) - less plastic is good right? It still feels sturdy, comes with a good mirror and brushes for the eyeshadows and the magnets are strong, so so far, so good.
If you have to get something from this collection, it’ll be the Khol in Love in Jade Crush. It is an extremely awesome color - creamy, bright and this baby is waterproof and smudgeproof (but removable with water if you rub continuously and really hard) which makes it great for tight-lining as well! I tried tight-lining my lower eyelids, and it lasted me almost the entire day - I tear and rub my eyes a lot, but at the end of the day I could still see some turquoise green!
I wish they’d bring in the Deepwater Blue version - guess I’ll have to hunt it down elsewhere! Check out swatches (but of overseas collections)
here, and
Beautezine’s lookbook with the in love collection here.
Also… a sneak preview of what’s to come for Lancome’s Vernis in Love!
These babies dry really fast and to a nice glossy shine even without topcoat! Can’t wait for them to arrive in Singapore.
LOTD to follow when I have more time! : )
