My NYE Look - Gone Holo

Jan 04, 2013 03:23

So for this New Year’s Eve, my husband had a grand plan of counting down in Boiler (which was about to close).

Feeling the age, I already told him I don’t wish to drink and I’ll be driving. But because he was calling me spoil sport non stop I decided I should be at least a little more festive by bringing along the super shiny sequined Minnie Mouse ears I got from an event, haha.

And to match the super shiny sequined Minnie Mouse ears, I decided to bring out my Hologram eye glitter from Make Up Store and make good use out it while I was at the salon getting my tresses ready to welcome the new year!

Eyeshadows: Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill in Obsidian Black, Make Up Store Microshadow in Heaven
Primer for Glitter: Make Up Store Sparkling Diamond
Eyeliner: Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Graphite
Mascara: Benefit - They’re Real!
Lenses: Freshlook Dailies in Grey

Make Up Store’s Eye Glitter in Hologram should be OOS - but I’ll double check again when I pass by a store. Try the other glitters! They cost $25 SGD for a small pot.

Would totally have stuck on some falsies if I had time, heh.

And in case you were wondering how my NYE went… Well, I didn’t manage to reach St James in time for the count down, but the party was still rather wild when we reached and I got in and out within all of 20 minutes because my husband was already super drunk from drinking too fast. #acthero And also the music was so loud I wanted to throw a glass at the DJ. 2-3 years ago I would be bopping happily to the beats. #oldalreadycannotclub

$11 (parking) + $6 (valet) + 20 mins later, we adjourned for supper at West Coast Plaza, heh. I enjoyed chatting over maggie with friends more than being in a club (if it was a trance act, then that’s a different story!). Oh yes no thanks to my new loud hair color, the valet immediately noticed me and asked… “Didn’t you just valet your car with us?! Leaving so soon?!?!”

Yep. 2013 = another year older. Not that I really mind, actually. Don’t think much could go wrong after whatever that has happened in 2012, and after weeding out the bad eggs, I have with me the adorable husband and our lovely friends, who always bring us so much laughter! : D

Cheers to 2013, and here’s to hoping that I’ll finally get a bun in the oven some time soon! *clinks tea glasses*
