Jindie Nails Swatches

If you’re Chinese-speaking, the first thought that would come into your mind would probably be… 金蝶?!?! Loosely translated, it means Golden Butterfly. Heh. Or Golden Plate. *shrugs*

I’m not really sure about the beginnings of Jindie nails or more specifically, the story behind her logo, but I almost thought it was from China due to the name and the logo looked quite medieval (am i wrong? tell me!)- but in actual fact, Jen hails from Pensacola, Florida in the United States, and her awesome handcrafted polishes are the big 3-free!

She has quite a good number of lovely creations on etsy, and also for sale locally (Singapore) over at meimei’s signatures - I would have purchased Swoon if not for the fact that it is already sold out! I really like Guns & Roses too. Do check them out - I think meimei’s prices are quite good.
Jindie Nails Barbies Have More Fun

Barbies have more fun came in a full sized bottle to me - was a purchase I made on meimeisignatures.com since she was sending me 2 for review : ) How sweet!

Barbies Have More Fun is a jelly white based polish with both black and pink hexagonshaped glitter in it - but it’s quite small, so they actually look more like polka dots unless you see them really closely.

It looks slightly pink here due to the base I used, but it’s definitely white. Two coats here, easy to apply and glitters are easy to get out.

Jindie Nails Grinch

I can’t tell if this is from her Christmas collection, but Grinch = Christmas to me!
The polish is a jelly slimey green base with white & red square glitters of different sizes, intermixed with red/white bar glitter. Definitely Christmas-sy!

I read on another polish blog that this polish also contains red hearts, and a black heart glitter in it BUT I couldn’t find any in my bottle - heck, it was kindda hard to fish out even the huge red glitters from the small bottle I received. I recommend buying full-sized bottles.

Accidentally nicked my ring finger with my camera while taking pictures, but wanted to show you how it looked like in a slightly warmer light.

Jindie Nails Candyland

This one, IS MY FAVORITE.

But it is also unfortunately the hardest of all to apply - the glitters were extremely hard to get out, and I’m honestly not sure if it’s because I received the smaller bottle for review or what - I would gladly purchase this and Swoon in the larger bottles now that I know, just to test that out!

I ADORE this happy looking polish.
It has neon pink, blue, orange, and purple hex glitters of different sizes in a jelly white base and it’s just so unique! Kudos to Jen for this polish - I believe this was the polish which made Jindie nails even more famous! It sorta reminds me of, er, correction liquid and highlighters, hahaha.

Application wasn’t easy with this one - I later realized that to get this polish on nicely, you should do a single coat of it first (since the white jelly base is all you get unless you specially fish for the glitters and shake really hard), then pick out the glitters and apply a second coat over it. I think I did a rather bad job at application because even the first coat was a little too dry at one swipe, but okay, Seche Vite saved the manicure a little!

This was about 2-3 coats.

The full sized versions are in 15ml bottles, and costs $15 / $16 SGD depending on the color you’re choosing. Available on meimei’s signatures!
