Butter London Gobsmacked & Lovely Jubbly
Actually I only wanted Gobsmacked, but I felt stupid ordering just one polish… So I got Lovely Jubbly as well!
I still felt stupid when 2 polishes came in a box that was about 50 times the size of the polishes combined. -_-”
Anyhoos, let’s get to the swatches!
Gobsmacked
LOVE. AT FIRST SWATCH. Okay more like the first coat of top coat over it.
This thing sparkled like stars in the night… a lovely dark grey with pretty silver glitter - so glittery that I couldn’t get a decent shot of it! Seems to have a bit of a blue overall tone - and I like it that way. Another worthy glitter from Butter London to collect!
Two layers of top coat was all it took to keep it shiny and pretty - in fact you NEED 2 layers of top coats for optimum shine and glimmer. Try to wait at least 2 hours between top coats though, so it doesn’t get “eaten up” so quickly.
This was two coats.
Lovely Jubbly
I wasn’t too sure about this at first as I don’t usually go for pink glitter - but I’m glad I got it! A mixture of fuschia, blue and silver glitter (seems like there’s a bit of red in the macro!) - this glitterbomb is absolutely shiny and WILL definitely draw attention to your nails. Especially with top coat!
And now with the new PVA glue as peel off base coat technique, we no longer need to avoid glitter! (Heh)
This was just 2-3 coats - amazing!
