(no subject)
just in case anyone was worried, i am still alive.
i haven't updated in a bit and not quite sure why.
life is as usual.
although, the past month has had some highlights...
kristen, beth, and myself ventured to NYC a few weeks ago for a serendipitious Saturday. we tried to get tickets to the Ellen show, but when that didn't pan out we settled for a day of window shopping on 5th Avenue. the featured moment of the trip was the realization of our dream lunch at Serendipity 3, the catalyst for the movie of the same name featuring the exquisite John Cusack!!! it was awesome. if only a perchance meeting with my soulmate, and the day would have been perfect.
Thanksgiving at my boss's house was nice, not home, but a warm sentiment. missed my ma dancing with the turkey though, those are good times!
"Rent" hit the theaters in late November and so did i. twice. it was amazing; me and base sang it for days on end. so fun.
katie came in for a visit, which was lovely. we played catch up with everything going on in our lives then went to see "Blast!" at the Hershey Theater...which, no lie was a blast! it was fantastic, words cannot even describe. if you like music or colorguard or any type of pagentry sport/art - go see it. rocked me socks. sharing it with katie made it even more memorable.
what else...what else...
jackass came to visit the other night with his girlfriend, noel (or leon if you're keeping score!) that was an alright time. the next day we did lunch and "White Christmas" at the Allen, good ol' traditions.
had our work xmas party this past sunday night, which was fun...got silly on a bunch of blue moons and sang karaoke with the other waitresses...let me tell you, "Like a Virgin" in front of my boss, classy.
haha...welp i guess that's it, those are the most up to date highlights in the life of rachael. titilating, isn't it. hahahaha.
lookin' forward to the holidays...festivus on the 23rd, home for a couple of days, then hopefully the new years' a drunken mess in jersey. i'm contemplating my resolutions for 2006...i'll keep ya posted.
