If anyone has (or knows where to get) pictures, animated GIFs, video capture, whatever of Mr. Fox from The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, I demand you share them with meee! *swoon* He was handsome, both visually and personably. (Pity his scene was so short.) I've never wanted to hug a CGI character so badly before, but there you go. *giggle*
Needless to say, I did see the movie yesterday. I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only problem is just how much Disney had to cut out of the film, and it did feel like it was rushing at parts. The movie was never slow though, and remained mostly true to the book, though I recognized a few scenes that were modified, added or removed. A lot of dialog which wasn't so PC (particularly views about women) was cut, although a lot of other traditional Christian viewpoints remained, but I really think you'd have to be looking for them to see them, beyond the obvious "sons of Adam and daughters of Eve" bit. Really, I feel people could walk away from this film pretty much with whatever they were seeking from it, a feat which is never easy for a film company to accomplish, especially Disney these days. When all is said and done, I will definitely be grabbing this one as soon as it comes to DVD, and will be looking forward to the sequel, Prince Caspian (yes, it's in preparation for development).
By the way, did I mention I really need a Mr. Fox icon badly? Or a plushie. Or.. or... *giggles and swoons again*
