Is it "Porsh" or "Porsha"?
Sooo...
apparently there's this huge Porche convention happening the weekend of my wedding. The result: all the standard hotels (Ramada, Hampton Inn) are booked. Fsckers. Now, luckily, we booked our wedding night suite a while back and are staying at the Belhurst Castle suite. Ooh la la.
But I kinda procrastinated a little on the day before hotel rooms. After hours of searching and bridezillaness directed at Harry (sorry!), he found a place that had rooms available! Okay, so it's nuttin' fancy, but it has a pool...hehe. But who cares, right?
My newest concern is finding a hair salon that is 1) Open on Sunday and 2) Open early enough to get us gals done in time for the noon ceremony. Yea, good luck with that. But, if I can't find one, I can't find one. I'll just be doing a lot of practice now until the wedding. And at least I'm not all caught in that fru-fru omg-my-hair-and-everything-has-to-be-perfect stuff. It's about happiness and having fun. And yummy cake. And seing my co-workers act crazy. And some secret little touches that only a few guests will understand, but it's completely a "Harry and Erin" thing. I do, pew pew!
In the favor and centerpiece ideas...I am in a creative slump. I know I can come up with something crafty, just gotta get all my creativeness focused on that and not work projects.
The romantic getaway.....Harry came up with the idea of a cruise to Alaska! Screw the Caribbean and their hurricane ways! Woooooot.
Invitations and Save the Date cards have been ordered!
So things, overall, seem to be progressing well. I can't believe it's almost the 4 month mark. When Harry is back from his next trip, we are going to sit down, finalize the guest list, send out StD cards, book honeymoon, so I think a lot of my stress will be relieved then.
Until then, protest Porche and the conventionite newbs!
