Today was one of the most inspiring days of my life.
Trite as it sounds, it was. This morning I rose at 6:30 am to drive to Springfield and hear Senator Obama speak. It was early and a little bit of a drive, but so entirely worth it. I stood out in the cold for an hour or so and didn't even notice when the feeling in my toes numbed to a dull tingle. Being there feeling the energy and listening to him speak made me feel even more compelled to participate in the campaign.
I have decided to devote a lot of time and energy into this campaign. I really think Obama's
stance on the issues is paving the way for a healthier, stronger way of politics in America. Even though I can't vote in '08, I want to do everything in my power to help. I need positive things in my life that I'm passionate about; and this is one of them. But we really need everyone's help; whether you can vote or not in 2008, we need your help.
