Once Again, I Find Myself in Des Moines
If it wasn't enough that I spent all of last weekend in Des Moines hanging out with Dara, Dara's dad, Wes, Matt, Andy, and Elizabeth, then surely I will have gotten my Des Moines fill by the end of this week. I am actually in Des Moines now, staying with the twins and Ryan, while I do all sorts of fun things like visit campus records to get a transcript sent to the state licensing department, get new contacts, and deliver resumes to funeral homes. I would have just spent all of last week in DSM but the twins had not gotten back from Las Vegas yet and I was running low on cash.
Nothing new to update ya'll on. Still planning on being in Chicago next week. Sounds like Kris may be going to the convention with me on Monday and Tuesday. I'm still not sure if I'm going to the convention on Wednesday though, I'll have to see who is back in town and what they want to do. Thursday I will be busy, and then I will have to see if my cash is holding out and if it is, I may stay until Saturday. I was so hoping to get an entire weekend but I'm afraid if I decided to pull a full week in Chicago, my parental units might get a little upset, seeing as I don't really have them money to go and am begging it off of them and since I haven't found a job, lol.
I cannot believe that I have been out of school for three weeks and have not secured a job. It is total craziness. My former boss told me maybe I ought to dumby down my resume, that I am overly qualified. WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP. Damn right I am over qualified. I worked hard, well not really, lol, to be able to put on my resume all the different thingers that are on there, and if funeral homes want to keep hiring retards then let them. Some day I will take all of them over, all the funeral homes in Iowa will be mine and I will only hire people that are overly qualified. Well, except for a kid I know back home, whom I promised a hearse driving job too. He probably wont go to college and he fishes most of the time, but hey he is really really funny.
I'm off to have adventures with the twins today!
