I haven't posted in a bazillion years. So I figured I'd condense bits from the summer and the beginning of what shall be a fabulous last year of college.
Basically I had the best job ever this summer, I worked in Union City as a camp counselor. Getting paid to color and go on field trips with children like this rocks my world.
they have glow in the dark bug candy at San Jose Tech Museum!
This picture took quite some time and effort to achieve. I hope you appreciate it.
whisking away an innocent child to safety, it's just my job.
Each week had a theme, for Halloween week, Mario and Luigi of course had to make an appearance. With hardcore sideburns of course and a tape player in my overalls pocket that played all the Mario theme music on a loop all day long. No, the kids didn't get bored of it after 2 minutes.
This summer also included my much awaited 21st birthday. Sadly, one of the things that most excited me about being 21 was going to Thirsty Thursdays at Castro Valley Bowl, where everything is a quarter, including games, shoes, and draft! So fab.
my friend Christy flattered me by throwing down for the first round. She's a classy gal.
Hmm who shall pay for the next one? Nose goes!
Roxie, Billy Flynn & Velma.
my friend ended up taking us to some sketchy bar in Alameda to meet up with some DJ from Live 105 and we couldn't think of a more clever way to tell him that we wanted to head out.
This one worked.
Onto more recent events!
So about a month back there was an open casting call to be in a Head Automatica video (aka pretty much my favorite band ever) so I drove down to Burbank for it. I'm only in it for a second (and I look like a douche) but hey, I got to meet my hero Daryl Palumbo AND Guns N' fuckin Roses was in the same building. Yes, I was breathing the same air as Axl Rose. It was an overwhelming day.
Went to an awesome themed party this Thursday, Wild Wild Westside. I went for a Christina Aguilera "Can't Hold Us Down" motif, good idea in theory, execution was...interesting.
