I wouldnt sell anything till you really know more about the trends in the fashion a lot of lolita's tend to be really picky and bitchy. (i know I've been in the fashion for years now and have sold some things)

as for where to start try some of the lolita communities on lj! egl is a great one! as for buying i say try closet child they have name brands for cheaper. Also egl_comm_sales has a lot of stuff the price ranges from reasonable to kind of high. I bought my first dress at closet child and a lot of stuff from egl_comm_sales before buying from actual sites. After you save a bit then you can buy from brand sites most ship international.

You should pick a style first (sweet/classic/goth/EGL/EGA and so on) and then pick a color you prefer. Then start buying. JSK are good or skirts and then one or two really nice blouses I would stick with white or off white for the blouse because you can mix and match it with a lot. Remember the socks shoes bag hair and petticoat are all important.

What I did was start with socks and shoes then moved to a blouse and then skirt and then from there lol went wild.

Good luck lolita is amazing I love it but it is a VERY expensive style so be ready to save and spend! Im more into classic lolita personally.

Thank you so much for all the information! That's really helpful :3

I actually have have been following a few blogs, both on here and Blogger (I think that's what Google's blog site is called xD; )

I actually prefer the really sweet and cute ones. Not to the extreme like Fairy but definitely sweet and classic mostly. Colors? Hmmmmm.....I'll have to really look into that and choose ^^;

But yes, thank you so much for the tips and I will definitely look into all of these aspects. ♥

Yeah its way easier to start with some color coordination and then build off of it this way you don't end up with a lot of stuff but none of it matches if that makes sense. I made that mistake I had a pink blouse but nothing to wear it with. This way at least you can have a full outfit faster. :3
