It's nice to be reassured your age doesn't necessarily dictate the state of your body.

Of course. Many stay well and fit even until their 90's!

Are you affected today, Excel-san?

I can only hope to be one of them.

It looks like it.

Well, overworking yourself and giving yourself undue stress will make you age faster, you know. Have a proper diet and exercise, and keep yourself healthy, then you should be alright.

Oh? How old are you now?

Ha, doing both of those things you'd think I'd just age normally, but I don't think that seems to be the case.

I'm not really sure. I have a couple lines on my eyes and I feel a little taller, but other than that I don't feel much different.

You're still aging at a fast pace despite proper diet and exercise?

Oh, I see. So long as you're healthy. No joint pain, anything of the sort?

It doesn't really feel like I've aged at all, but at the same time I don't quite feel like myself, either.

No more pain than the average amounts of physical labor will incite.

I see . . . Well, perhaps it's because of the curse. You aren't used to your body now. Or do you think it might be something else? You're certainly calmer, for one.

Ah, good, then.

Is that it? It's getting hard to tell these days.

All these curses changing my personality, it gets more difficult to remember what it usually is.

Well, I remember that Excel-san is energetic, tomboyish, with a fiery temperament. It's strange to see you all somber and serious.

I wouldn't have used tomboyish, exactly, but....

It does feel strange to be so calm, though. It feels different from the last time this curse happened, though. I suppose I should take that as a good sign, though. It means my future isn't set in stone, don't you think?

Your future is what you make of it. Each day counts.

In the first place, who among us would've thought that our future entailed being taken from whence we came and being placed in the City?

Good point.

Maybe we should meet and have tea or ramen together to enjoy the peace of mind we seem to share at the moment?

I would enjoy that, Excel-san.

I can provide the tea. I have a good supply here.

It'd be interesting to see you with your hair a strange color for a change, after all.

Good, I'll be over to see you soon, then. I'll bring some ramen, if you don't mind me cooking it there?

White and gray are hardly that strange!

Of course not. Feel free to use our kitchen.
