When Shishio Makoto came into our lives, time slid to a stop for us. Ken-san left for Kyoto, probably never to return to us again . . . Sanosuke followed him, determined to fight alongside him, while Kaoru-san and Yahiko-kun followed him as well, determined to bring him home to Tokyo with them after all was said and done.
In the end, I was left behind . . . continuing my practice as a doctor, because while I had wanted to journey to Kyoto as well, it was not the right time. Eventually, I did follow, but while I remained in Tokyo, I went about my business . . . continued to work, continued to live my life and my profession . . .
But time came to a halt for me as well.
I can’t help but worry now that Shishio is here . . . Can he really wreak as much havoc here as he did whence we came? . . .

Though there is nothing to do but to continue living my life, with the people I love, and keeping a watchful eye . . .

How is everyone faring? To all that I tended to in the past few days because of that curse that wrought bad luck . . . I hope you are all better now? And I hope that everyone is back to their normal genders, sexual orientations, and preferences~?
