bop bop bergamot
just got word that the polaroid show is going to bergamot station in santa monica. whee.
dropped off that collage (see below) at echo curio so it'll be on view sept. 4 - 27. they are teaming with another gallery for this exhibition so whatever that means...um, okay. i should probably finish reading emails so i get the deets.
photo class should be fun. everyone is pretty nice and the teacher has a sense of humor. i haven't been in a lab since, oh, 1999 or so. kind of nervous, actually. this should be easier than the ilfochrome printing we did in college. my only concern is making the lab times. i may be working every day except tuesdays so if the lab is closed for whatever reason i'm screwed. it's not like my tiny university where we had the key and could use the lab 24/7. nope. this is ghetto community college. the business office has bullet-proof glass and the soda machines are locked up. i am totally into it ;)
