A rather unsettled Wesley Wyndham-Pryce slips into the room and hugs the wall on his way over to Laini. At the moment, a charming weekend in Quor-Toth (or just about any hell dimension, really) has more appeal than what he suspects will be happening next.
But he gave his word. And it's all for a good cause, yes? Yes?

"Layers." Laini grins at Wesley. "The whole idea behind stripping is the teasing. Nice and slow, not all at once. The more that's hidden at first, with hints, the better the effect when you start taking it off."
She steps back, and for a moment her own skirts are floor length- and she lifts the hem to reveal one delicate foot in example.
"That's the reason why ankles were so shocking, once upon a time."

Yes. Well. It's all very well and good to read about such things in musty, old Victorian tomes in the Watchers' Academy. It's quite another to be holding a slinky bit of black leather in one's not entirely steady hand.
But a promise is a promise, and if Wesley has learned anything, it's to face every challenge like... a... man.
It's that 'boat ride' line. If I'd never said that to Justine, this wouldn't be happening now. Why does karma have to be so damned comprehensive?
"It's not the ankles part that worries me."
The absurdity is starting to catch up with him, though. There might be just the hint of a smirk.

She giggles, and Laini's outfit blurs back to 'normal'- for a given value of short skirt, now.
"Well, from what I've seen of human morality on Earthside in my time, they've moved far beyond ankles. Given some of the stuff I've seen in cosplay at anime cons, well!" She shakes her head, amused. "All good for them, though I think the yuppies here are quite a bit more conservative."

"Ah, yes," Wesley replies, thinking again of Illyria. "I suppose the standards for shock aren't quite as high as all that, given the audience."
So he'll allow himself to think it won't be all that bad. Even if it does mean forcible chaining his own superego down in the deepest dungeons of his psyche. But then, his superego usually went in for that sort of thing...
"I don't suppose we have changing rooms...?" he asks, somewhat bashfully in anticipation of the answer.

"No, thanks just the same. I think that corner over there will do well enough."
Wesley offers Laini one more embarrassed smile before excusing himself. For someone he's just met, Laini is certainly getting quite an education in the sides of himself he's normally adept at hiding. Life in Milliways may prove to be even more ... interesting than he suspected.

Jack's stripped before, you may recognize, if you happened to be at a certain night. He's not letting on though, just there for coaching the more nervous people.
Also, weilding an eyeliner pencil. Dare ye approach?

That absinthe and wine would be very handy. Draco was helping himself to some, and trying not to facepalm about getting into this. Well, at least it'll mean things will be back to normal.
And he was just lucky his parents and mentors (if not for one of mentors' wives) had avoided the tofu.
There is also a bottle of absinthe, and a couple of red wine, making the rounds, discreetly.

It walks like Moiraine. It is dressed like Moiraine. It has brown hair like Moiraine.
But is it, in fact, Moiraine?
Puck tugs at his blue cloak, adjusting his wig surreptitiously.
No offense to goths, but this costume will always be nearest and dearest to his heart.

Along with a glomming hug, one hand carrying a brown-paper wrapped parcel of clothing with his name written on it.
"You came! Wonderful! Now get dressed."

Well, so much for the being more at ease.
"I--."
"...Where's the rest of it?"

"I could toss up an illusion if you really want? Specially as the stripping certainly isn't going full monty."
