Happy Thanksgiving!
It turns out the recipe I have for pumpkin pie is enough for more than two pies when I only have 2 pie shells. I sent Shawn to the grocer to get more 'cause I'll be damned if I make homemade pie crust too. As a treat, I'll be sending a couple lucky guests home with their very own pumpkin pie tomorrow. Who doesn't love pumpkin pie?
I scheduled a doctor appointment on Monday morning to get blood-work done again to test my thyroid. I'm also going to have a nice sit down talk with my doctor about my IBS. I'm having alot of problems lately that only seem to be getting worse over time. How's that for the Monday after Thanksgiving.
Monday evening I have dinner plans with the folks at work at some swanky restaurant 45 minutes away from work/home. Our new boss will be in town to join us as well. Maybe I'll get him good and liquored up and ask for a better raise next year. Keep your fingers crossed.
Time to go check on the pies and uncork that bottle of wine.
