Happy Saturday!
Today is the biggest party of the summer in the city that I live in. Every neighbor on the block is having a bbq, including us. Later this afternoon we'll all walk three doors down to the main street where thousands of classic cars will ride up and down squealing their tires.
Two years ago an Elvis impersonator set up a stage at the end of our street. He wasn't here last year and he's not here again this year. I'll admit that I'm a little bummed out about it cause it was a lot of fun to watch. From where I sit you can here music and the revving of the old classic car engines.
We have company coming over in about an hour and here I sit in my bathrobe. I better go dry my hair and get started on the potato salad.
