I read a fic somewhere that takes note that Kili has an atypical weapon for a dwarf. So...I'm thinking that while most of them would have land-based (and/or burrowing) daemons like moles or badgers or whatnot, Kili would probably have a bird or something elf-esque and elegant like a gazelle =)
