I have a lot of ~feelings right now about fandom in general--namely bandom and Inception. Part of it is that I have had a super stressful week and had like three hours of sleep last night and then my alarm didn't go off this morning and I was LATE TO WORK, but these are also things I've been mulling over.

I love the fic, but playing with so many awesome people has been amazing for real. I frequently equate my feelings on Panic with those of the Bob fans toward MCR. It makes me sad, but the more time passes, the more I realize that I just don't care about Brendon and Spencer without Jon around. Just listening to them talk about new music fills me with rage. :( And being fannish about something shouldn't involve rage, you know? (IDK, for me Dallon has always been not!Jon in my head. I sort of find him annoying and like he's trying too hard to make people like him.)

I don't have any irrational feelings of dislike for MCR's new drummer! Any feelings I have are directed at the rest of the guys. What made me feel much better and willing to listen to the album with an open mind was removing the band (and satellite people) from my twitter. You should do that for your sanity!

That said, I still can't think about Ryan Ross without wanting to slap something quite hard!

Also, Tom Hardy is one of the greatest gifts from the universe, and from the fandom. True fact. I'm just so glad to have been able to write as much as I have, in this fandom, to be part of something that inspired me that much, made me excited to always be trying to think up new versions of the characters. I'm running low on new versions, now, but it was a wonderful time, and I still love Eames and Arthur and stupid Cobb and lovely, lovely Mal.

This fandom gave me Jizzy's writing, and your college AU boys, and Hackthis' brilliant ideas about Eames' family and background, which I have totally absorbed into head canon. It also gave me the joy that is Arthur+Eames in any size, shape or form. And suit porn, mustn't forget the suit porn. I don't think I can be more grateful for that if I tried

I LONG for a good P&P AU. Bandom had a gloriously long, winding one that I adored to pieces, and I want the Arthur/Eames equivalent soooooo badly.
