I made a new friend last weekend. She views a lot of things using the same methods I do, but we have completely different outlooks on a lot of those things. Tiffany and I were having a disagreement, and she helped me mediate it effortlessly. I think the key thing to note is that she really, really reminds me of my sister. She caught on to my speech patterns pretty quickly and figured out we were a lot alike. One thing about being a mind reader is being able to spot other mind readers pretty easily. Tif really likes her, too, so I'm going to see if we can all hang out more often...I think I could learn something important here.
Oh, and she has a crush on one of my friends. She seems to like the challenge, so we might have more in common than I thought. It is pretty clear, though, that she isn't interested in me. She is definitely cut out to fill the niche missing while I'm away from my sister. I should find out what niche I'm supposed to fill before it creeps up on me.
