So yesterday I got to train to two different buses. This is the first one:
This is a twenty-nine passenger bus. It's almost like a longer sprinter van (in fact, it's the same manufacturer, Freightliner), but it drives like a heavier school bus. Oh, but this bus has some features of a big motorcoach like a restroom in the back, 110V outlets for laptop computers or anything else, DVD player, and on-board wi-fi (that in itself is a sweet deal)!
The second bus is this one:
Now THIS was totally a different kind of monster! It's a little bit faster than the twenty-niner, and controls a lot better, too. That bus was meant for highway driving, and I for one can't wait to get on the highway with it!
There are some larger buses on hand that I have yet to drive (ranging from forty-seven to fifty-six passenger buses), but I'll get a chance to drive them in the next few weeks (provided I can get away from Illinois Central School Bus for a bit).
The excitement still builds, and I'm wanting tog et on the road for a few weekends and hopefully see some things I haven't seen before.
