Day 03: Your Parents
This is something I do not like to talk about too much, and anyone who knows me well enough knows why. For those that don't, let me spell it out. I come from a Typical All-American Dysfunctional family, basically it's one of those families where you would lose a biological parent and things go downhill since that loss. That's me, basically. I lost my mother when I was ten years old. If you want to know how, read
this entry from two years back. It explains everything, melancholy feelings and all. As for the rest of the ordeal...you know what? I'm not going to bother writing it all up. If you really want the scoop on how I feel about my parents, just go through my journal under the tags "Family Crap," "Family Trauma," and "Idiot Drunken Step-Mom" and there you have it. Story explained.
Day 04: What You Ate Today
Finally, something a little stable for me to talk about. Well, what I had today was some of the turkey tacos I made for the first time last night. What I did was when I went shopping last night, I bought me one of those Old El Paso Taco Dinner Kits (the ones that come with six hard taco shells and six soft taco tortillas), some Kraft Taco cheese, shredded lettuce, and instead of using ground beef, I used ground turkey. They came out pretty good, I thought. I might try getting the store bought Taco Bell kit next time to do a taste comparison, but I still do like the Old El Paso one.
