Minor Update Thingy...
Midterms...why do they have to kill you so much?
Okay, so I'm taking a break from Street Fighter IV (the current owner of my soul) to study for next week's midterms, and my English class is looking like it's going to be the roughest. And by that, I'm talking about tons of memorization! Oyi! History isn't looking too bad, and seeing as how we're into the American Revolution, it should be fairly nice, as long as I don't screw up on the essay questions like I kind of did last time.
Something interesting happened to me at work. The last two paychecks I've been getting since I've gone full time, I noticed I was still receiving my part time pay rate. On the first stub, I didn't think much of it because maybe the pay didn't kick in until the next one, but last week when I got my stub, it showed up again, and that time, I had to ask a question. So I talked to Tim about it and he called Finance to ask them about it. Turns out that they didn't register my new pay rate when I signed the papers on my full time orientation. So what ended up happening was I wound up with a check for $443.52 in back pay from the past two pay periods, and they fixed it so it wouldn't happen again. I heard that stuff like this happens all the time, and I'm not sure whether to believe it or not. Still, I'm glad that little misconception got cleared up when it did. That at least gave me a little bit more spending money for the weekend, and some going towards the long awaited (and long put off) Fox Den in Maplewood. Funny thing, finances are, right?
And two weeks with the Violet Vixen and she's still running great! I think the return of Road Trippin' might be eminent this summer. We'll see, though.
