THE VIOLET VIXEN IS FINALLY MINE!
Oh, but what an ordeal I had to go through to get her. First, from Monday, you all know I told you the battery was dead and we couldn't get her to start. Well, yesterday, the big boss of the place was there, and he got the old one to jump so I was able to drive it. Drove like a dream, man! Drove like a sweet dream!!! So when I got back to the place, I was ready for all the paperwork to be filled out. Problem was, they were busy and only had two people working there. Needless to say I was in a hurry because I did have History class in like one and a half hours, but I decided to wait it out. I should have told them I was kind of in a hurry because it got past the point where my class had started. Still, I was all done with all the paperwork at around 18:20...not enough time for me to get to class and sit through being that the school was literally three and a quarter miles away and it was nearing the end of rush hour traffic.
Despite that, I am overall very satisfied with my new baby. She may have a lot of miles on her, but that doesn't mean she can't move. She's ten times more quicker than the Crimson Vixen will ever be (even with her "all powerful" V6 engine)! And here's the best part...everything inside her actually works! For instance, I have three 12V outputs (two in the front, one in the rear) that actually work (which means I can finally run my XM Radio Receiver and I put an electric cooler in the back if I wanted to) as opposed to before where I had just one output (that I had replaced at one point) that never worked at all. Plus, I actually have lighting in my vehicle as opposed to not having lighting before (I tried putting in new bulbs on the Crimson Vixen before, but the overhead dome light just plain didn't work). Some other features that I really enjoy about my new Vixy are: the digital compass and temperature display (the Saturn Vues that I looked at before had theses and it was something that I really loved, so I was very happy that I actually got one of those), the CD player (stock, but still awesomeage...and BTW, I found out yesterday that I do have a tape player in there, too, so that makes it easier to listen to my MP3 player than to whip out the FM Modulator which makes it sound even softer), and my personal favorite...the sunroof! I actually got something with a sunroof! That thing will be open all summer long when I go on trips (except for when it rains, of course, but the cover of it will be off so I can watch the rain drop on the roof)!
So, yeah...I'm loving my new baby! Pics will be up soon. Laters!!!
