Clothes Shopping?
Somebody call an ambulance!!! The Wildfox has gone clothes shopping!!!
Okay in all seriousness, everyone who knows me well enough knows that I"m not the type who likes to go out and buy clothes every season or every so often. This time around, though, I was in need of some clothes because some of mine now are beginning to show their wear on me, especially my pants. About three pairs of mine are starting to rip down where the sun doesn't shine, and of course no one wants to wear something like that out in public. So I decided now's the time to get myself some new clothes, so as I was doing my bi-weekly shopping at Walmart (which usually comprises of me buying lunch meat, bread, and cheese for lunch at work), I decided to pick up some things off the clearance racks. I got myself five shirts: three white tees...one with like a white collar and a skull tie design, one with a green Mario Bros. 1up mushroom, and one with the words "VIDEO GAMES DESTROYED MY LIFE. GOOD THING I HAVE 2 EXTRA LIVES." and it has like three greyed out skulls and two black ones...one brown tee that has a squirrel running crazy from a pair of acorns with the words "Most of the people that drive me NUTS are in my FAMILY" which is so true...and then I got this really awesome Superman shirt, which wasn't on the clearance rack, but it was only $10 and I so liked it so I got it anyway. And to go along with those, I got myself four pairs of cargo pants because...well...I love cargo pants! One of them has zip-off leggings so I can convert them into shorts, so now I have an extra pair of shorts in the summer!!!
I don't think I did too bad for myself. All the shirts I got, save for the Superman one, were like $7.50 a piece, and the cargo pants were like $5, $11, and $13 (x2). Funny thing was I didn't think I was going to find anything I liked there at first, but Walmart just surprised me with their clearance racks. Who knew?
