Enchanted!
After three long nights of pain and misery, I decided to reward myself by taking myself to the theater to see Enchanted? What? What do you expect from a Disney man, eh? Anyways, I can only sum this movie up in just one word.
BEAUTIFUL! BEAUTIFUL! JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!
That is what a Disney movie is supposed to be like. Giselle makes a fine addition to the Disney Princesses. The moment she was whisked away to New York and started to use her Princess charm in the "real world" the first thought that came to my mind was "I love this girl already!" This movie had me at the edge of my seat. It put me into my little Disney mood where I would just be as giddy and as excited about what was going to happen next. Oh, I am taking another trip back to the theater next week to see it again come next week! I think I have next Thursday night off (and that for me means pay night). I'll check again, but if it is Thursday night, I'm all over it!
Actually, now that I think about it, Enchanted gives me much higher hopes for Disney first full return to animation come 2K9 when The Princess and the Frog (you know, the one movie that features the first African-American Disney Princess) comes out. It is absolutely great and truly wonderful to see that Disney is returning to their roots. It's given me faith in my fandom again! Hey, crimsongypsy, I think I could use that soundtrack myself.
