I haven't done one of these in a long while, so I think now's a good time to start one.
Thanksgiving night after
stryder619 and I got done with Pudgiving, the two of us went back to his place to hang out for a bit waiting on
artistic_idol to show up. Walter had me playing Gears of War on his Xbox 360. Needless to say I haven't played it at all (as I have played

As far as the PS3 goes, I'm not really waiting on Tekken 6 or the Final Fantasy games. I'm waiting on stuff like Ratchet & Clank (which is already out and I so want to play it), Jak, and Sly Cooper. I think I already know that eventually Tekken 6 and at least some of the Final Fantasy games could be going multiconsole, but that doesn't bother me.
As far as online gaming goes, that's something I don't at all care for (never have, and pretty much, never will). When I had my old Xbox before it broke, I had Xbox Live up to the time it died on me. Tell you the truth, I wasn't impressed by it, either. Everytime I would go to race in something like Burnout Revenge or Forza Motorsport I would end up getting booted out of the lobby or I would be in a race where my opponents wouldn't race but just do stupid stuff. So more than likely, even though I still have my Xbox Live Gamer Tag, you probably wouldn't see me on Xbox Live too often, if not at all. Nor would you probably see me on PlayStation Network or Nintendo Wi-Fi for that matter, either.

Now on shooting games people play for real and if they don't you just shoot them in the face (very satisfying).
I forgot that you prefer G-rated style games so graphics aren't an issue. Hrmm, I guess whatever floats your boat then. :D
For me, the online community is important. I like being able to see what my friends are playing and being able to invite them to the same game as me rather than us trying to find the same game on the same server out in the PC world. It's oriented around gamers having friends and wanting to do things with them. I prefer playing multiplayer games but not many of my local friends play with me so with the Live I can find quality people to add to my friend's list and play with them instead of the general public. The Xbox 360 has Assassin's Creed, Puzzle Fighter, Bomberman, Puzzle Quest, and Tetris online as well as VF5 and Street Fighter so it isn't just FPS.
MASS EFFECT RULES!!!
