Ode to teh Grey Sky Days and a little update.

Ah, sweet grey sky day! How I've missed you so!

Well, not much new going on with me lately. I have no math classes this week. Tuesday is a service day in Missouri so all school campuses around the state are closed for the day. And then Thursday, Ms. Wallace has Parent-Teacher Conference at the middle school she teaches at in Hazelwood (least I think it's Hazelwood) so class for that day is canceled as well. All I have to deal with is Reading class, which shouldn't be too bad.

I'm now working for $9/hr at Target. The minimum wage for Missouri just went up to $7.50/hr and our shift differential just went up to $1.50 (+50¢) so add that together and that technically puts me at $9/hr. That should hopefully be enough for me to manage that apartment in Richmond Heights I want so bad. There are two units available at the place now...one for $350, and another for $365. I saw the $350 one a week ago, and it honestly didn't look too bad. It was a bit dirty in some spots, but I'm guessing the guys haven't been around to cleaning it yet. I haven't seen the $365 one yet, but I might do that sometime this weekend, considering if the place will be ready for viewing. But first things first, the Vixen must be road ready before I attempt to make any move. Seeing is how Target's not going to help me much with my finances, my next option would have to do one of those medical studies my ex-roommate squirrel_rapist does. I might not feel good after one of them, but the pay they give for them is really nice (up to $2500). I figure if I can do at least two or three of them, I might have enough to get the Vixen done and some left over for the first part of rent and what not. We'll see, though. I just need to find the time to do them, what with my schedule and all.

That's all I have. Later gators!
