Sidelined Again
Uh...sorry folks. I'm afraid that the last post was a false alarm. It seems like the Vixen isn't ready yet after all. In fact, I don't think she was ready the day I got her out. Couple of things I noticed on her that day. One, the clutch pedal was way too loose and a couple of times I felt like I almost popped it...and two, my speedometer was all out of whack, meaning it wouldn't read my speeds correctly 30% of the time. So she's back in that same shop, but I'm beginning to think maybe I should've taken her elsewhere. I'm starting to not trust the guys that worked on her. I think not only did they do a half-ass job on her, I think they also broke my water pump taking her apart, too. I thinking that if I get her out tomorrow and I get more problems, she's going to a different mechanic shop. I don't want them to damage my baby any further than they are already doing. I paid them too much money for that job and I don't think I'm getting my money's worth. But we'll see what the deal is and if I can, I'll report back tomorrow.
