So yesterday I promised myself that I'd take myself out to do sort of a birthday celebration. So what I did was I put some gas in the Vixen and headed up north to the St. Louis Mills Mall. I got me a ticket to see Meet the Robinsons then went for a little "dinner" (well, it was technically still lunch time, but oh well) at Johnny Rockets which was right next door to the theater in the food court. They have nice 50s era feel to them, which kinda amused me because there are some things 50s that do arouse me. So after I ate there, I walked around the mall a little bit, but I spent most of my time in the NASCAR Speedpark (which is a little arcade and NASCAR fan shop for those that have never been to the StL Mills before). There wasn't much going on at the Mills. I was just killing time before the movie started. Around 15:55 I made my way back to the theater and got my popcorn and drink before heading to the room where Meet the Robinsons was showing. Amazingly, I was the only one in the showroom the whole movie. First time in my life that's ever happened to me, so I could basically do whatever I wanted...like I did. I'm usually calm and collective during movies, but I could laugh as loud as I wanted, though, which I did because Meet the Robinsons was that damn wonderful (Bowler Hat Guy!). Never thought I'd have that much fun with a Disney 3D animated movie. 3D movies barely catch my attention, but I hear so much goodness ravings on LJ, I couldn't resist.
So that's how my day went yesterday. Overall, t'was good. Oh, and I also got myself a new monitor to replace the piece of crap going dead one I had. Now I haves a natural bright screen again! Fox on. And I have another New Age CD in my collection. The CD "Ambient Café" by Briza is now mine. Love it, love it, love it! Awesomeage CD.
Well, um...bye!
