Meta S. On the Prowl, Yo!

Since I couldn't sleep this morning (I only got in a two hour nap around 04:00) I decided to jump in the shower around noon time and head out the door and took myself to Best Buy out in Crestwood to do some computer equipment searching. What I ended up doing instead (because Best Buy doesn't have a good parts inventory) was dragging myself around the DVD sections checking out all the new releases. Not much to go on as far as I went, but when I got to the Anime section (I haven't been Anime hunting in such a long time) a number of complete collections caught my interest. First and foremost, they had a Magic Knight Rayearth complete which included both Rayearths 1 and 2 selling for about $30 (or at least I think it was). Azumanga Daioh four about $45, Maburaho for about $40 (I think), and then a new Tenchi Muyo series I don't think I've seen yet. The Rayearth one caught my attention first and foremost because I have yet to see the first Rayearth series and I have the second series on VHS minus one tape which I've been struggling to find eversince I started collecting it, but now that it's affordable on DVD, I'll just go ahead and get that and have both to look at. Those are going on my Amazon Wishlist in hopes I can get them for my birthday in three weeks. While I was still there, I snooped around the New Age CD section trying to locate some New Age artists that I've been listening to on SIRIUS Spa 73. I finally found out what Secret Garden CD has the song "Lotus" on it, and that too is going on the wishlist. I couldn't find any others I was looking for (I was looking for that Secret Garden CD, The Buddhist Monks, Briza, and Abakus), but I had a good idea where to look, so I took myself to Barnes and Nobles down the street. They had a better New Age section but I still couldn't find Briza, The Buddhist Monks, or Abakus. Feeling a little frustrated, I asked the clerk at the desk if they had them either in stock or if they were at another store. No luck there, but he did say that they could order it so that it'd be in in a few business days. Glee! So, come Friday, I'll be ordering the Briza CD that I want and then maybe the next paycheck I get, I'll order the other ones I want. Fox on for special orders! And then, while I was there, I looked around the store to see what was new and all. They did finally have Brian Jacques' High Rulian on paperback so I can finally add that one to my small Redwall collection. I also checked to see if Volume 10 of The All New Tenchi Muyo manga was in stock, and I found one copy there. This is the final book in the series, and Tenchi is set to get one of the girls...but which one? I gotta get that manga. I need to know which girl Tenchi gets set up with! If it's either Ryoko or Ayeka, I can go for that but I don't think it's either one of them. It might be either Sasami or Washu (if it were Sasami it would be kinda weird), but please don't let it be Mihoshi. I'm beggin ya. Okay, getting back on track, since Vol. 10's the last book in the series, time for me to start a new collection, and right now it's a tie between Galaxy Angel and Tokyo Mew Mew. I'm still pissed off that 4Kids TV isn't airing Mew Mew Power anymore, so I guess getting the manga will satisfy my Mew Mew cravings...and you can't find any Galaxy Angel DVDs in any store these days. So yeah, it'll be a wash between those two. And on another note, I think I'm going to start collection Superman graphic novels now. I saw some really interesting ones at B&N and it's got me curious enough to check them out full time. So, once I get myself a bit more financially stable, I'll start collecting Superman graphic novels. I do need to start reading more.

Okay, I have my Amazon wishlist to update so I'll get to work on that. Here's the list so far if anyone's curious as to what I've got on there so far. Afterwards, I'll take another nap before I go into work tonight. This week is a 40hr week, so I must be prepared for the worst. So...that's it for me. Later, amigos!
