Valentines Day and More Future Thoughts

Get your own valentinr

Just wanted to put that up again just in case anyone else wanted to send me one.

Okay, well, we all know that Valentines Day is coming up on Wednesday, and once again, I'm feeling left out of the loop. Don't get me wrong, I don't really have anything against Valentines Day, it's just the fact that every year, I'm always lonely and loveless. I'm not sure what it is about me that keeps me from finding love (it's like all the girls I'm interested in are either taken or not interested in me...and all the ones I have no interest in what-so-ever are wanting to flock all over me), but I guess it's something I can help. Somehow I doubt I'll ever be able to enjoy it. I guess it shouldn't matter, though. Maybe I'm destined to be a hermit for the rest of my life. But not to be discouraging, I still want all those who have mates to enjoy your Valentines Day to the fullest and show your lover that yes, you do love them.

Okay, on a lighter note, getting to my plans for my return to school, I think I have a definite plan as to what I want to do. I want to try take up Digital Media with an emphasis in Animation so I can attempt to break into game design. So far at StLCC, they offer BA in Fine Arts with a Graphic Communication option that looks promising. I need to take myself down to the college to see what the program would be like. I looked it up online and they have classes that emphasize on drawing and graphic design (I'm guessing botn 2D and 3D) among other courses. Maybe after I file my taxes at the library I'll head down to see what the course has to offer, and I'll see if I can get into Webster University (out in the county) and take up their Digi Media program. I got a postcard in the mail from Webster University a few days ago and went to their website to see what they had to offer, and this program caught my eyes instantly. I'm wondering if this would be a good idea. I don't know much about Webster University except the fact that they're local, but it seems like a good idea, which has me worried. If by chance there's a college or art school out of state that offers what I'm looking for, I'll take that in a heartbeat because I don't really want to stay here in St. Louis, but if that's not an option, I'll be looking into either Webster University or University of Missouri: St. Louis. But until then, I'll look into what I can do at FPCC. It's the least I can do.
