Thoughts of the Future and Fill Me Stocking
Okay, here's my initial thoughts and plans for the upcoming year and my distant future.
First off, I'm hoping to have my truck sometime next month or February since it's taking twice as long as I thought it would to save for one. Maybe my tax return might help me on that, but I'll see what comes down the road. And, if needs be, I'll be looking into getting my own apartment, since I can't stand to live with the parents anymore. There are some places on Chippewa St. close to where I work that I'm interested in looking at. Once I get some things cleared up, I'll look into that. But I do intend on moving out of here come next year.
Second off, I'll be reestablishing my financial aid for Forest Park Community College sometime between February and April. I think January might be a little too soon. I also hope to have some summer classes registered within that time frame also. They'll have to be core classes for right now so when I get ready to enter the fall semester, I'll have some room for major classes. As far as what I intend to do after Community College, well, if I get the chance to transfer to a 4-year College/University, let's just say I will not be in Missouri when that happens. I intend on going out of state for my education. As of right now, I have no definite idea as to where I want to go, but I'm leaning towards going to somewhere in Pennsylvania (because I've been contemplating on moving out to the mountainous region of the state for some time since my trucking days). Other places I'm considering are West Virginia, California, Washington (state), (upstate) New York, Arizona, or New Mexico. Honestly, I wish to live somewhere where there are mountains. Since my trucking days climbing mountains in Penn State and west New Jersey, I've gotten addicted to them in my own way. But if I can't do such thing, I'll take whatever I can get. Note that this is only wishful thinking (or more or less me making a note to myself), and that I have no definite idea as to what the future will hold for me, and I'm just trying to keep my options open for come what(ever) may.
