A Day With the Family at Forest Park

I just got back from spending the entire day with my (entire) family at Forest Park. It was our annual family reunion. So I got to see some faces I haven't seen in so long since I moved from North County (about all of my family lives all over North County; and the parents choose to live in South City...ehh). So for the most part, it was a fairly good day, up until the kid cousins decided they wanted to go to the Zoo. I opted to go myself. BIG MISTAKE!!! Reason I say that is I was left soley in charge of the kids. I was supposed to have backup, but they opted out at the last minute. So, I took the kids to the Zoo, and we pretty much had a good time, but my two little cousins Howard and John started acting up really badly and I ended up yelling about halfway through the visit. Up until the Zoo closed, things went downhill. The demon spawned kids really started getting upity in a hurry. At that point, I was just trying to move everyone along so we could get out of there and back to the parkgrounds. It was that bad. But luckily I got them out and back to the parkgrounds in one piece. I swear, I am never going to the Zoo again with those demon spawned kids. They give me such big headaches!!! Next time, I go by myself or with a girlfriend. Never with family (unless I have backup).

Gah, I can't type. My left middle finger's all sore from playing catch with my uncle. I caught a wild ball and it bent my finger backwards, and I can hardly keep it straight. I'll have to take it easy at work tomorrow night. I'm hoping it'll clear up by tomorrow night though. I'll know by then.

Okay, I'm tired. I think I'll stay on for a while and then take off. It's been a long day.
