Last night, closing time for Kland was 0:00 (that's midnight in case ye don't know). I was on closing duty which wasn't as bad as I thought. The beginning of my shift was hell though, due to the "50% Off Storewide Savings" sale, one of what I like to call, "Kland's Flaws." I hate when they do this. I've noticed a vast amout of stupidity in shoppers when this sale goes on. About 97% of people that come in always ask me, "is everything in here 50% off," or "how come this isn't 50% off," or any kind of question like that there. Kland seriously needs to rethink this. Having the sale itself isn't a bad idea, it's the way they draw attention to themselves that creates the flaw. The signs they have running along the building and all along the exit ramps of I-270 give people the idea that the entire store is 50% off. For one thing, people can't don't read and they often tend to get mislead. I gotta go through this everytime they have these sales. It drives me nuts. I'm just glad that last night was Sunday night and no one drops by after 21:30, and everything's calm, and I have today and tomorrow off to make up for this little mishap.
As for my days off, I want to go see Chronicles of Narnia, which I might do today. I haven't been to a movie theater in over a year now. Why? I don't know. It never occured to me that I haven't been to one in over a year. That trend breaks either today or tomorrow. Other than that, it's chillout time.
That should do it for now. See you guys later.
