Remembering Eddie Guerrero

Nov 14, 2005 11:21

For those who follow WWE wrestling these days, and to those who haven't heard the news, one of my favorite WWE superstars has passed away yesterday morning. That superstar is Eddie Guerrero. I didn't find this out until last night when one of my roommates randomly brought it up. When I saw it on WWE.com, it devestated me on the inside. Like I said, he was one of my favorites. He could make you smile, angry, sad...just a terrific performer inside the ring and outside. A former 2 time ECW Television Champion, 2 time WCW Cruiserweight Champion, WCW United States Champion, WWE Intercontinental Champion, WWE United States Champion, 2 time WWE Tag Team Champion, and last year, he was the WWE Champion for the first time. That was my favorite highlight of "Latino Heat," when he defeated Brock Leasner for the WWE Championship at No Way Out. I have so many memories of watching Eddie on TV. This is one of my biggest losts in wrestling since Owen Hart.

Eddie, I'll never forget you. You were one of my favorites, and I'll always remember you for all the good times and bad ones you've given to me and all WWE fans everywhere. You will me missed. Farewell, Latino Heat...
