my first day on externship
-- i watched a dental, growth removal, and x-rays. very informative!!! also, found out what a dog coming off of drugs sounds like. hound of the baskerville anyone?
-- washed and dried a dog, who i ended chasing because he fled the tub. i did a good job of washing him, but not of restraining him in the tub.
-- brushed and walked lots of dogs. learning how to deal with pulling dogs and those who don't like being brushed.
-- clipped lots of toenails, but also quicked a few. thank god for quick stop!!! still i felt bad about it. but some dogs i didn't even quick and they acted like i was trying to kill them!!! such big babies!!!
-- also found out that back stabbing people prey on people like me. meep!!! i'm needing to learn that i can't baby the animals and not let people push me around. thank god that the ladies are willing to work with me on that.
but it was good, and my feet hurt...
