first week of school update...
well, i have just finished my first week of school at Pima and i think it's going well.
math = easy!!! we started with the basics and for this i'm bored. i know how to add, subtract, multiply, divide, whole numbers, fractions, decimals, etc. the only thing i'm looking forward to is metric to standard convertion, because i REALLY need to brush up on that!!! however, we still need to go over it, due to the fact that some of the students may not know how to do this. i'm not sure how that happened, but perhaps it was due to either bad schools or bad parents.
study skills = easy!!! i already know this!!! ack!!! but yet again others don't and i have to stuffer through.
anatomy and physiology, now there's a chalange!!! i know some of the things because of my mom, but other stuff i don't know. i'm having to learn the greek and latin root words, along with suffixes and prefixes. also, i'm learning more techical terms for things. the only thing i dread is the spelling test. *hides* i HATE spelling tests!!! ack!!! stupid brain mixing up letters in my head!!! why?!?!?!?!
most of my classmates are cool. there however are a few girls who do nothing but gossip about other people. *rolls eyes* how stupid is that? i guess they are of large mouth and little brain. also, one of them thought i was lying because told the class that i had to haul around 3 norton anthologies that were a little larger than my medical terms book. they should see all the books i have, they would be shocked!!!
anyway, i should get back to my homework. i want to get a bunch finished before my bro comes over for is birthday dinner. i only wish it wasn't so hot!!! *fans self* it's going to be over 90*F again and my sis won't let us put in the ac unit. *grumbles*
