Something wonderful is about to happen to you
Today was a long day helping a friend move so we went to the Panda Buffet for dinner. At the end of dinner they brought the fortune cookies, and as is custom everyone grabs one. One friend simply cracks the cookie open, takes out the fortune and puts the cookie halves it back on the plate. As she reads it her brother pipes up and tells her she has to 'eat it or it won't come true'. I nod in agreement and then choke a little on my cookie as she pops the fortune paper in her mouth and says with a grumpy expression, "Thath justht thtupid," and swallows.
Several minutes later I have stopped laughing and gasping "the cookie, eat the cookie." Wiping my eyes to see my own fortune still clutched in my hand I read: "Something wonderful is about to happen to you"
We never did find out what her lucky numbers were.
